Free goods, freight and the real cost
Work out the cost of all the goods you receive, including the ones marked free.
Count the goods that arrived
Illustration: pay ৳1,000 for 10 identical items and receive one more free. You now have 11 items. Before other costs, the average is about ৳90.91 each.
Add the delivery cost
If freight is ৳100, total cost becomes ৳1,100. Divided across 11 identical items, that is ৳100 each. These are teaching figures, not a supplier quote.
Review before posting
Shopkeeper allocates freight and supplier discounts across received lines. Check the preview when a delivery contains different products or partial quantities.
