Start with a shop you can count.
A practical preparation checklist for your first working day. Agree on onboarding help during your demo.
Prepare your products and suppliers
List products, brands, packs, units, purchase costs and selling prices. Count the stock you actually hold and note supplier details separately.
Keep opening balances separate
Reconcile cash, bank and mobile-money balances. Keep your existing customer dues ledger: opening customer dues are not available yet. Product and customer CSV import is Pilot and requires a preview.
Set up people and devices
Choose who may see profit, give discounts or sell on credit. Practise with the actual device and check the touch or keyboard mode before using the live shop.

Check the first day together
Practise a sale, collection and return with demo data. When starting your shop, compare sales, stock movements, dues and the cash count against your existing records. Resolve differences before relying on the new routine.
Shop preparation sheets
Download a blank stock-count sheet and a demo checklist. These are planning worksheets, not CSV import files.
